Alto presents a menu inspired by the diverse regions of Italy, featuring fresh seafood, handmade pasta, and classic dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients. Their open-air terrace, adorned with lemon trees and floral decor, creates a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast.

Here are some standout dishes you shouldn’t miss:

• Tiramisu: A classic Italian dessert layered with coffee-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cream.

• Burrata with Datterini Tomatoes: Creamy burrata cheese paired with sweet cherry tomatoes and basil.

This is a pretty little place on the rooftop of Selfridges so definitely more for Instagram and the pasta dishes are nice but our steak was well done and a bit chewy. We’d advise to order around 6 dishes to share as their food is tapas style.

We went on a rainy day but still felt like vibrant summer. The lively yet sophisticated atmosphere makes it perfect for both casual lunches and special occasions.
