Kitchen W8: A Michelin-Starred Delight

Kitchen W8 is a hidden gem in Kensington, combining Michelin-starred dining with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Known for its modern European cuisine and seasonal ingredients, it’s the perfect spot for a refined yet approachable dining experience.

Kitchen W8 serves a menu inspired by contemporary European flavours, with a focus on fresh, seasonal, and sustainable produce. From weekday lunches to Sunday roasts, the dishes are carefully crafted to delight diners with elegance and creativity. We visited to try their set menu which was priced at £60pp (which includes wine) or £40pp without the wine. This really is a restaurant that offers stunning food with an affordable price tag. Make sure to check out their menu!

Let’s talk food

The food here is beautifully presented and packed with flavour. The emphasis on quality ingredients shines through in every dish.

Some must-try dishes:

Valrhona Chocolate Mousse: A decadent dessert that’s both rich and indulgent.is on quality meat and classic accompaniments makes every meal a memorable one.

Cumbrian Beef Tartare: Delicately seasoned and served with artichokes and parmesan.

Cornish Cod: Paired with smoked eel, celeriac, and truffle for a luxurious touch.

Here are some of the photos we took on our visit:

Insanely presented food that is unique, delightful and packed with flavour. The standout dish were these savoury churros with truffle parmesan shavings on top. I could have a bowl of them (and I think we asked) but need to find out what this dish was.
