This interactive bar in Shoreditch (with locations in other areas too) plunges you into a fully themed, theatrical setting where you play the role of a smuggler, sneaking in spirits for the prison “inmates.” It’s not just a bar—it’s a night of immersive experience and entertainment.

What’s the Experience Like?

Step into Alcotraz and expect:

• A completely unique way to enjoy a drink, combining cocktails with roleplay and theatrics.

• A dramatic prison-themed storyline where staff (playing guards and inmates) create a fully interactive experience.

• The chance to sneak in your favourite spirits, which the expert “inmate” mixologists will turn into custom cocktails.

A great experience and the immersive actors transported us to Alcotraz! You bring your spirits and they make cocktails out of them which is a really cool idea. The best advice would be to get into the spirit of it and be part of the fun.

If you’re looking for a bar that’s anything but ordinary, Alcotraz Cocktail Bar will have you raising the bar on nights out. If I had one wish, it’d be that we had longer there, but that’s a testament to the experience itself. – They make the nicest cocktails!
