Indegno: A Slice of Italy in London

If you’re searching for authentic Italian street food with a contemporary twist, Indegno is a recommended spot. This charming eatery captures the essence of Northern Italy with its adventurous palate. There are innovative recipes, while traditionalists can relish variations of the classic fried Crescentine from Bologna.

Located in London, Brick Lane and Lamb Street, Indegno’s menu boasts a mix of tortellini cones, hearty bolognese ragu crescentines with stracchino cheese, and other Italian delights that are perfect for casual dining or takeaway.

Let’s talk food

Indegno’s food philosophy revolves around bringing classic Italian flavours to life. From crescentine fillings such the classic meatball sauce, cold cuts, and ragù with squacquerone, to those with a sweet tooth, offering Nutellina and Pistacchina even gelato Crescentine in the summer time!  If you’re looking to take your meal to go, and looking for something new and inventive to Italian culinary cuisine, Indegno caters to all tastes.

Cute spot in brick lane that offer both sweet and savoury Crescentines. We loved the dessert options, particulary the Nutella spread one and for savoury, we’d go for the Indegna which is Mortadella sausage with their home made parmesan cream.

Cloud 7 is a family run brunch spot (by a husband and wife) who really care about the service, standards, and food that they provide. The reason we want to mention this is because they have always been consistent, and we have enjoyed every one of our visits!

From pretty plates to insane desserts, Cloud 7 Edgware and Hornsey are both hidden gems that you all need to know about. They offer both savoury and sweet plates, which means that there is something for everyone!

Here are some of the photos we took on our visit:

The brunch desserts are a must! Pistachio Croissant, French Toast or Fresh Pancakes; it’s a work of art and great for Insta. If you’re looking for savoury, we’d recommend the ‘Summer Breeze’ breakfast and try their beetroot hummus.

Pepe Rosso’s menu celebrates Italian classics. From carbonara to perfectly stonebaked pizzas, the restaurant ensures each dish stays true to Italian culinary heritage. They have great offers from Monday-Friday lunch times: £11.90 for a starter and a main dish, which is very reasonable considering the quality of the food.

It really is a hidden gem because of its reasonable prices and delicious Italian plates.

The food delivers on every front, from the authenticity of its flavours to the freshness of its ingredients. It’s a true Italian dining experience that satisfies cravings for hearty, homemade cuisine. If we could visit daily for lunch or dinner, we would!

The Menu

Venue and Vibes

The restaurant exudes charm with its rustic brick-work interiors and warm lighting. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for family dinners, date nights, or casual gatherings with friends, and the staff are very accomodating.
