Wingstop: Where Flavours Take Flight

Wingstop, a global favourite for chicken wing enthusiasts, has carved its niche in the UK with its bold and vibrant flavours. Known for its signature wings, seasoned fries, and iconic dips, this spot is a haven for anyone who loves finger-licking good food in a casual and upbeat setting.

Their menu is centred around their mix flavoured chicken wings, available in classic, boneless, or tenders. Customers can choose from a variety of sauces and dry rubs, ensuring something for every palate—whether you love fiery heat, tangy zest, or sweet indulgence, you can pair your wings with their seasoned fries. We were pretty excited.. however found it to be quite average.

Let’s talk food

The wings are what everyone comes for at Wingstop.

Some flavour favourites include:

  • Louisiana Rub.
  • Garlic Parmesan
  • Hickory Smoked BBQ
  • Atomic

Here are some of the photos we took on our visit:

This may not be a popular opinion, but Wingstop are very overhyped for wings. They’re not bad but I wouldn’t be waiting in a queue for these. If I had to pick a favourite, i enjoyed the garlic parmesan chicken tenders and the ranch dip was really nice!

Nino & Josh

The portion sizes are generous and they give you the option to mix and match so you get the opportunity to try as many flavour combos and goes down well with a Camden Hells that they also serve at Wingstop.

The Menu

Venue and Vibes

Wingstop has a modern, urban vibe with a casual and energetic atmosphere. Whether you’re dining in with friends or grabbing a quick takeaway, the staff are friendly, and the service is efficient. The vibrant decor and upbeat music add to the experience, making it more than just another fast-food joint.

Wingstop is not a must-visit but I don’t think that’s going to stop you from trying these out. See what the hype is about and eitherway you can enjoy the fun atmosphere, and great sides, it’s the ultimate comfort destination whilst eating wings.

Let’s talk food

At Madhus, the dishes are as visually stunning as they are delicious. We tried the Traditional High Chai afternoon tea for both vegeratian and non veg menus with unique selections including: chilli cheese sandwiches, vada pav, bombay sandwich, chicken samosa and tandoori salmon sandwiches.

Here are some of the photos we took on our visit:

This is a lovely place to come to and enjoy with your partner or a mother’s day experience. The afternoon selection was really nice but not overpowering so it maintained the afternoon tea concept with an asian twist.

Nino & Josh

The food at Madhus at The Grove feels like a celebration of Indian fusion cuisine and the depth of flavour, combined with elegant plating, ensures that every dish impresses. It was also one of the best masala chai’s with their elegant crockery sets.

This unique eatery combines the best of East and West, crafting bold, creative pizzas that cater to adventurous palates. The menu is filled with exciting fusion options combining asian influences with italian foundations. Alongside their innovative pizzas, the menu features pasta dishes, appetisers, sides, and desserts that are equally creative.

Let’s talk food

At the pizza parlour, we met the owner, Devinder Singh who explained the research behind every dish and you can tell because every bite tells a story. We tried:

  • ‘The Afterburner’ which has a tikka sauce base, naga chicken, jalapenos and coriander sauce
  • Saag Paneer Truffle Tagliatelle
  • Fish Pakora
  • Crispy Corn Chilli Chaat
  • Masala Lobster Arancini and Chai Tiramisu

Here are some of the photos we took on our visit:

The best fusion pizza we’ve ever had! Originally we went in apprehensive because some fusion concepts lose the original take on the cuisine itself but this felt like a discovery. Everything is good but you have to order ‘The Afterburner’ it’s not as spicy as it sounds but the coriander sauce is just heaven. The other dishes are really really good especilly the fish pakora bites.

Nino & Josh

East West Pizza takes the familiar comfort of pizza and transforms it into something extraordinary. The quality of the ingredients shines through, and the bold, unexpected flavour combinations make every dish a standout.

The Menu

Venue and Vibes

The restaurant offers a cosy, modern interior with a vibrant and eclectic vibe. It’s a great spot for catching up with friends, food dates, or simply indulging in delicious food. We had a look around and they had a mixed group of people from different ages and stages, whether it was couples pn a date, a family dinner or friendly catch ups. The staff were friendly and knowledgable, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

East West Pizza is perfect for anyone seeking an exciting twist on a classic dish. We’d highly recommend this place, it might not be the most convenient to travel into, but it’s worth it – trust us!

Yamal Alsham is a distinguished Syrian restaurant nestled in Chelsea, London, offering an authentic taste of Syrian cuisine in a premium part of London. Known for its rich flavours, traditional recipes, and elegant décor, Yamal Alsham has become a beloved destination for those seeking a genuine Middle Eastern dining experience.

The menu is a celebration of Syrian culinary heritage such as baba ganoush, kebabs, stews and their baked breads.

Let’s talk food

The food is hearty, delivering authentic Syrian flavours that are both bold and nuanced. We however didn’t love our visit. The food was very average and service was a little awkward in our opinion as some of the member of staff were watching us whilst we were eating.

Here are some of the photos we took on our visit:

The cheese pastries was a personal favourite and the mixed grill items were cooked well. Wouldn’t suggest any other dishes however. The atmosphere was a little cold which brought the overall experience down slightly.

Nino & Josh

The Menu

Venue and Vibes

Unfortunately the venue was quite empty apart from their outside areas, but we could feel there were more staff than customers and as we were eating, we could sense the waiters walking around, looking at our table which was putting us on edge. We spoke with the owners and they host a lot of events which we can imagine would be entertaining. however our visit felt quite cold.

The menu is a curated selection of Bangladeshi classics reimagined with a contemporary flair, which are presented in their Ala Carte menu and their pre-theatre menu as they’re based next to the Lyceum Theatre (Lion King!)

Let’s talk food

The food delivers authentic dishes such as their meat and veggie thalis which are small pots of little delights, however we found the food very oily.

Here are some of the photos we took on our visit:

Our favourites here were the Toddy Shop Tiger Prawns which are blended with their 48 spice mix, however we found the curry dishes quite oily and very rich. Sadly we wouldn’t recommend.

Nino & Josh

The Menu

Venue and Vibes

The restaurant boasts a sleek and modern interior, with paintings of tigers and wildlife theme along the ceiling and walls. The attentive and knowledgeable staff further enhance the experience, providing excellent service and insightful recommendations.

Sadly we wouldn’t recommend Paro as some of the food was bland and very oily, however if you’re going to the theatre, it would be a great place for drinks and small bites before the show.
