Balans, No 60 (the big one) in Soho is a trendy, all-day dining destination that perfectly captures the vibrant essence of Soho. Whether you’re in the mood for a leisurely brunch, an indulgent dinner, or just cocktails to unwind, this spot has you covered.

The menu is as eclectic as Soho itself. From classic breakfast options to internationally inspired mains and a variety of small plates, they cater to every craving. Plus, their cocktails are perfect for an evening out. – Open until 6am so a great place after a night out!

The food at Balans is flavourful and thoughtfully prepared. Their dinner plates looked like art pieces and every modern, showcasing their quality ingredients and bold flavours.

These guys excude fun and they have different menus depending on whether you’re here for lunch, dinner, after midnight… From the dinner menu, we really enjoyed the pan seared fried scallops with minted pea puree, but save yourself for pudding and have ‘Pudding for the table’ which consists of a sharers selection of cheesecake, lemon tart, black forest artic roll and doughnuts,

For us, Balans, No 60 is a great spot in Soho for any occasion. Its extensive menu, welcoming vibe, and prime location ensure a satisfying visit. The fact that they’re open after midnight hours is your prime alternative to a doner kebab if you’re hungry after a night out in Soho!

We’d actually recommend the ramen – the seafood ramen was good and a big portion, so worth a shout to share between 2.

YO! Sushi remains a fun and reliable choice for those looking to dip their toes into Japanese cuisine. Its energetic atmosphere and wide-ranging menu make it a great spot for groups or solo diners on the go. We would say it’s a go to restaurant for us, however for a quick grab and go, its decent!

If you’re looking for a place that isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel but does authentic Italian food, this is a hidden gem. The cooking is done with love so I trust any dish here but we loved the Linguine Di Mare which brough a freshness with their mussels, clams, calamari and juicy king prawns.

The dishes celebrate simplicity done right, with their wood-fired pizzas also being one of the stars of the show, featuring thin, crispy crusts and pastas that are fresh & handmade, while the risottos showcase rich, indulgent flavours. They have a lunch menu, I would highly recommend checking this out.

The service was very attentive and friendly, reflecting the genuine passion of the team behind the restaurant. We felt a charm to this place whether dining solo or with a group, the ambience feels inviting and special.

Rudy’s specialises in Neapolitan pizza made with traditional methods and the finest ingredients imported directly from Italy. Their simple yet flavourful menu focuses on quality over quantity, with pizzas cooked to perfection in just 60 seconds in their signature wood-fired ovens.

Crispy pizza, with so many different options for meat eaters and vegetarians. Need to dip your crusts in their Chilli Honey and Garlic Aioli. Freshly made and that are reasonably priced too.

Rudy’s is all about relaxed vibes and warm hospitality. The open kitchen lets you watch the magic happen as the pizzas are hand-stretched and fired in the oven. It’s a casual, welcoming atmosphere perfect for a quick lunch, dinner with friends, or even a solo pizza date. Simple, yet delicious pizzas for a recent price. They were really fresh and had a thin crispy base too. Service at the Shepherd’s Bush branch was lovely and friendly too.

Rudy’s Pizza delivers a true Neapolitan pizza experience with its authentic methods, top-notch ingredients, and friendly atmosphere. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves proper Italian pizza. They have a few locations. We also visited one that is in Fair Game (Canary Wharf) and a newer location at Westfield (Shepherds Bush) we enjoyed both! Definitely recommend, fresh, hearty and full of flavours.

    If you’re looking for traditional southern Indian cuisine: thalis and dosas, we would suggest checking them out. We liked the stuffed mushrooms and can’t go wrong with a bombay sandwich!

    Have to say, we love their dessert tapas which make it easier to indulge. Out 2 standouts were the ‘Grow Up’ which is a cheesecake cream, soft cookie pieces, oreo soil and watered Biscoff milk syrup.

    This was more about the experience rather than the food quality, although we loved the canapes but London lit up at night was breath taking, and seeing everything via the dinner cruise, was the perfect view. Also we loved the entertainment!

    The branch we went to in Harrow all we can say is the manager was passionate about the food he was serving! I have to say the food didn’t dissapoint but the standout dish for us were the Prezzo meatballs with focaccia bread and their Pinsas which is in between a pizza and a pie!

    The atmosphere varies slightly by location, but the Prezzo restaurants we’ve visited, share a warm, family-friendly vibe. Their sleek interiors and well-spaced seating ensure a comfortable dining experience, while the staff are attentive and eager to please. If I was to be picky, we felt the manager kepy coming over to us after each dish to find out about the food/experience. Whilst it’s good to be attentive, you have to find the balance to allow customers to privacy as well.

    Prezzo Italian is a go-to spot for reliable Italian cuisine that pleases a crowd. Whether dining with family, friends, or colleagues, you’re guaranteed a satisfying experience with comforting dishes and welcoming service.

    Mrs Riot’s cocktail menu is a testament to their playful creativity, with each drink crafted to excite the senses. From fruity and sweet to strong and smoky, there’s something for every preference. The food I would say is more for nibbles on the side as the drinks are the highlight.

    The cocktails were really good and look forward to coming back for one of their Bottomless Drag Brunches, but you’ve got to try a ‘Rum Riot’ which is their Havana Club tropical spiced rum cocktail.

    Bubble Waffles serves Hong Kong-style waffles with a customisable selection of toppings, including:

    Every waffle is freshly made, ensuring a warm, crispy base for your indulgent creation.

    This place always has a queue during the day in Camden but actually is better to come back later in the evening. We go for the kinder bueno waffles with white and dark chocolate sauce and strawberries – although I think I could eat all of their options!
