The menu is sophisticated and inspired by the vibrant Asian food markets. From sushi and robata-grilled dishes to small plates designed for sharing, the menu is a curated journey through Asian cuisine. Their cocktail list is equally enticing, featuring bold, exotic blends.

Lucky Cat blends authenticity with creativity in its dishes, delivering refined flavours in every bite. Whether you’re a fan of perfectly seared wagyu beef or delicate sashimi, this spot is all about culinary artistry.

Food and service was impeccable, but we were really impressed with their egg fried rice which is mixed and presented in person. I know it sounds basic but you have to see and try for yourself, and also get the Black Cod.

Also you can pair your meal with their fine selection of Spanish wines or a refreshing sangria to complete the experience.

The food at Jamon Jamon is consistently fresh, flavourful, and quickly served. From the sizzling patatas bravas to the tender grilled calamari, each dish is packed with Mediterranean goodness. Of course, their paellas are the stars of the show, cooked to perfection and ideal for sharing with friends or family.

Food on the whole is fresh and what we’d expect from Spanish tapas, but have to say the Gambas which is sizzling tiger prawns cooked in olive oil with garlic and red chilli is a must order if you’re there!

We haven’t tried many Spanish restaurants in London, however Jamon Jamon doesn’t disappoint and we would recommend visiting. Many tapas portions, that don’t impact the quality which is always great.

The atmosphere at Jamon Jamon is lively and welcoming, evoking the warmth and charm of a traditional Spanish taverna. Whether you’re enjoying a meal in their intimate indoor seating or soaking up the sun on their outdoor terrace, the vibrant energy makes every visit a pleasure. They have a few locations in London but we visited the one in Belsize Park. Truly beautilful décor and calming atmosphere.

A must-visit destination for anyone craving authentic Spanish cuisine in London. With its flavourful dishes, inviting atmosphere, and attentive service, it captures the essence of Spain and delivers it straight to your table.

We get our birthday cakes from here all the time. The passionfruit and mango in our opinion is a must order – it is quite literally beautiful!

Mezcalito Chelsea: A Fiesta of Flavours in the Heart of London

Located in the vibrant district of Chelsea, Mezcalito is a Mexican restaurant and cocktail bar that brings the spirit of Mexico to London. With an impressive collection of over 600 tequilas and mezcals, it offers an authentic and lively dining experience for both locals and visitors since its opening in 2018.

The menu features tapas-style Mexican dishes, from tacos and tostadas to sushi (I know it sounds like an odd fusion). The bar’s extensive selection of agave spirits is one of the largest in Europe, ensuring a perfect pairing for every dish. They also host regular events, such as Taco Tuesdays and Mariachi Wednesdays which add to the festive atmosphere, making every visit a celebration.

The culinary offerings at Mezcalito combine authenticity with fun fusion. Dishes like the baja fish tacos and the choriqueso melted cheese with chorizo served with fresh corn tortillas showcase the rich flavours of Mexican cuisine. We also had sushi which doesn’t appear currently on their menu but also gave a point of difference which worked well.

As much as the sushi was a touch of luxury to accomodate the Chelsea visitors, our favourite dish were the baja fish tacos!

We ordered from their new fusion Japanese menu during our visit, which was great so if you are struggling to choose between a Japanese meal or Mexican meal, look no further!

The atmosphere at Mezcalito is lively and inviting. We loved the sombrero light shades and were given the hats to wear throughout the night. They have Live music events and a resident DJ on Saturdays enhance the festive ambiance – we had the mariachi band which made it an authentic and memorable experience. Absolutely loved the venue, and I would highly recommend visiting for both good food and experience.

Overall, this place offers a vibrant and authentic Mexican dining experience in the heart of London. With its extensive menu, lively events, and impressive selection of tequilas and mezcals, it stands out as a must-visit for those looking to immerse themselves in Mexican culture and cuisine. The Residency Notting Hill: Where European and Caribbean Flavours Dance

Nestled in the heart of Notting Hill, The Residency is a vibrant neighbourhood bar and restaurant that seamlessly blends European and Caribbean cuisines. Under the guidance of Head Chef Carniel Francis, this establishment has quickly become a favourite among locals and visitors alike, offering a lively atmosphere complemented by eclectic music and a warm, welcoming vibe.

We were invited to try their bottomless brunch but their culinary fusion from ackee and saltfish arancini to burrata with tomato marmalade looked appetising. You can tell each plate is crafted with precision and flair.

Honestly this was one of the best brunches we’ve had for both sweet and savoury, from the Green shakshuka with poached eggs and rose harissa to their french toast with as much maple syrup as you’d like. Also the presentation was beautiful and clean on the plate.

The standout dish was the crispy duck salad, cashews, watermelon and hoisin sauce. We’ve never had duck with watermelon but the sweet and zingy freshness created a new flavour which we’ve not tried anywhere else!

Their Bottomless brunch includes either brunch or dinner for 90 minutes of unlimited prosecco, beer, house wine and house spirits for £42.50 pp.

Overall, the dining experience is both unique and satisfying. With its innovative menu, lively atmosphere, and commitment to quality, it stands out as a premier destination for those looking to explore the fusion of European and Caribbean cuisines. – Such a shame that this place is now closed.

This mogo was the best that I have ever tried. I would highly recommend ordering it if visiting! Nino’s parents are both from Kenya, and for them it was a little connection and memory to home.

The kebabs at GDK are of quality and flavour. The meats, imported from Germany, are 100% halal and marinated, ensuring a juicy and tender bite every time. The handmade waffle bread provides a great texture that soaks up the sauces. – not a sloppy kebab!

GDK isn’t your greasy sloppy kebab you have at 2am after a night out. This felt clean to eat and you could taste all the flavours. We would recommend The Original German Doner Kebab and everything is held so well with their waffle bread

Their emphasis on quality and flavour makes them a standout in the fast-casual dining scene and have some good options, including kebabs with less calories such as the KCal Kebab and veggie options so this spot is for everyone!
