Paro, Covent Garden: Authentic Bangladeshi Flavours in the Heart of Covent Garden
Paro in Covent Garden is a stylish and contemporary Indian restaurant that offers an authentic yet modern take on traditional Bangladeshi cuisine. With its sleek design and innovative menu, Paro has quickly become a standout destination for both casual diners and food enthusiasts seeking a memorable culinary experience.
The menu is a curated selection of Bangladeshi classics reimagined with a contemporary flair, which are presented in their Ala Carte menu and their pre-theatre menu as they’re based next to the Lyceum Theatre (Lion King!)
Let’s talk food
The food delivers authentic dishes such as their meat and veggie thalis which are small pots of little delights, however we found the food very oily.
Here are some of the photos we took on our visit:
Our favourites here were the Toddy Shop Tiger Prawns which are blended with their 48 spice mix, however we found the curry dishes quite oily and very rich. Sadly we wouldn’t recommend.

Venue and Vibes
The restaurant boasts a sleek and modern interior, with paintings of tigers and wildlife theme along the ceiling and walls. The attentive and knowledgeable staff further enhance the experience, providing excellent service and insightful recommendations.
Sadly we wouldn’t recommend Paro as some of the food was bland and very oily, however if you’re going to the theatre, it would be a great place for drinks and small bites before the show.
