The menu comes across seasonal, with ingredients locally sourced from hearty brunch plates to indulgent mains and sharing platters, there’s something for everyone. The bar is equally impressive, featuring an array of cocktails, fine wines, and craft beers.

Let’s talk food

The menu at Alice House takes traditional British pub fare with a contemporary twist, however we found the food to be quite bland and the mash potato was left cold which could be more of an issue with the service or communication.

This is a place that could be good for most people but unfortunately when we went, we had a negative experience. Not only was the food left cold, but when we highlighted it to the waitress she just took the food and walked away. Our best dish was the dessert – Apple & Pear Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream

With its blend of rustic charm and contemporary elegance, Alice House has a cosy yet polished vibe. Exposed brick walls, warm lighting, and vintage-inspired furniture create a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re seated by the bar or in a comfy booth, it’s easy to feel at home here.

Alice House is definitely a great place for after-work drinks, having a casual date (we even went to an engagement party there) and the atmosphere is rustic yet modern. Our only let down was the attention to detail on the food. They have all the right ideas but possibly certain members of staff are missing the mark when it comes to speed and service.
