Let’s talk food

What sets Old Spitalfields Market apart is its variety. The food options cater to all dietary preferences, from vegan to gluten-free, ensuring no one misses out. Every stall offers something unique, making each visit an opportunity to discover new foods & flavours.

Here are some of the photos we took on our visit:

We haven’t been to every food stall but we can vouch for the Sri Lankan Kothu which is nice to eat especially on a cold day as the spices will warm you up. You’ll always find really cute bespoke jewellery and last time we had a fudge feast, however this is a place to frequently visit as there’s always new stalls to try!

Venue and Vibes

Housed in a historic Victorian building, Old Spitalfields Market allows for easy browsing and dining, with plenty of seating scattered throughout. From artisan coffee to pop-up food vendors, the vibe is relaxed yet energetic. There’s also a sense of community here, with live performances and events often taking place. Go ahead of time to find seats, as it can get very crowded!

Old Spitalfields Market is a must-visit destination in London, combining history, culture, and exceptional food. Whether you’re exploring the market’s artisan stalls, savouring street food, or enjoying a sit-down meal, it’s an experience that leaves you fulfilled whilst out in London. Perfect for locals and tourists alike, this is where London’s vibrant culinary and cultural scene truly shines. The only issue was finding somewhere to sit down, so would suggest going as early as possible, especially for places like Humble Crumble where the queue can go on forever.
